Our Vision Statement
Our vision is to be an authentic community where all people can experience God, are encouraged in their faith journey, and are empowered for Christ-like service to others.
Our Guiding Values
- The church is a truly unique entity, and what we have been called to do really matters and no other institution can do the work we can!
- Community means everyone is gifted, valued, and can serve: men, women, children, students, and seniors.
- God's heart attitude of "none should perish" should be ours as well.
- Ministry to people is valued over maintaining programs or traditions!
- Our history is to be honored, but we choose to focus on our future direction under Christ.
- A sense of urgency should be blended into all we do. Time is short and lives hang in the balance!
- Everything we do should align with God's Word.
- Striving for excellence in ministry reflects honor to our Savior and God.
- Conflict is inevitable and should be handled biblically, with love, grace and forgiveness!
- God is sovereign and all powerful, but He usually cooks, not microwaves! He is more interested in our character than our comfort!
